HOW TO CHOOSE THE RIGHT CBD PRODUCT & DOSE FOR YOU?
If you’re new to the CBD world, then pick 1 or 2 product types that you can incorporate into your current lifestyle.
BREAK
For example - You might not want to take it daily and use only Topicals on an “as and when” basis on a targeted area of your body.
BREAK
or
BREAK
If you are having a protein powder mix drink a couple of times a day and a Creatine powder drink mix it's probably not practical to take your CBD via a powder solution.
BREAK
Make it work for you, on your terms.
BREAK
BREAK
Only buy products you can see all the ingredients and the amount of testing that it has gone through - Look for Third Party Testing as a good indicator.
BREAK
Look at how the CBD has been manufactured. The most common methods are CO2 extraction & Ethanol extraction.
CBD DOSAGE

Some products like capsules, edibles and powders (with Scoops!) will show how much CBD the product contains per item/scoop. For Oil’s with tinctures you need a bit of maths!
BREAK
The Maths.. Know the total amount of CBD in the bottle and know how much the bottle holds in volume. Then you can work out the what each serving is via the tincture.
BREAK
A rough guide - If a bottle contains 30 milliliters of CBD then each tincture will be 0.3 milliliters of CBD per serving. So that is 30 Servings of CBD. (always check the bottle containment max & the tincture max)
BREAK
BREAK
To apply common sense to all of this, if it's your first time taking a CBD product, start on a small dosage and see how you feel. You can always increase the dosage, just make sure you don't exceed the recommended daily dosage.
BREAK
..and of course, if you feel uneasy about it. Don’t try it. Do more research and inform yourself to make the best decision for yourself.. ask us on the Contact page.

HOW TO TAKE CBD PRODUCTS
Gaining as much information is vital before you make the decision “To take CBD”.
BREAK
Let's put it in some context..
BREAK
Remember the day you said “you’re going to start going to the Gym”?
BREAK
BREAK
As Scott Douglas (Former NFL) player points out in his book “The Athletes Guide to CBD” (Rodale, 2019) you needed to answer some questions on that decision.
How often are you going to go?
Are you going solely Cardio or weights or a mixture?
How long are you working out for each session?
How are you going to measure your progress?
How do you know when you’ve done enough?
Remember all those things running through your mind?
What now seems like second nature to you was once a minefield!
BREAK
Over time you’ve informed yourself as much as possible in order to make decisions and the right choices for you before attending.
This isn't dissimilar with taking CBD products.
BREAK
These products come in a variety of ways:
BREAK
Oils - Currently the most commonly thought of CBD product presentation. Small Brown bottles with the dropper screwed at the top. The CBD oil within isn't the oil from the plant itself (like Olive Oil), it's actually the Cannabidol (CBD) mixed with a non hemp Oil, commonly extracted from coconut Oil. Usually recommended to be dispensed under the tongue.
BREAK
Balms/Serums (Topicals) - To be applied directly to the skin in a targeted area 2 or 3 times a day usually. Sometimes used as an add on to Oral CBD products.
BREAK
Capsules - Convenient way of taking CBD. Think of this as like taking a Vitamin capsule in the morning, It’s really easy to incorporate into your daily routine. Each capsule will have a certain milligram level of CBD containment, so you know exactly how much you are consuming each time.
BREAK
Powder - We mean in terms of Drink Powders - like Whey Protein mixture powders. It's a growing market and these can come in a variety of flavours. Again, a good way of knowing exactly how much you are consuming providing you use the measure provided/recommended and scoop!
BREAK
Edibles - Usually in sweet “Gummy Bear” format and other gimmick shapes. A good way of knowing your consumption. Some often come as concentrates which then should be used like the drinking powders. It can come in the form of other foods, like cookies, cakes etc.
BREAK
Suppositories - They do exist! In all honesty, it is a good thing you can get CBD in this form. As unfortunately some people can not take things by mouth. So along with using Topicals, this is a sure fire way of getting CBD into your body.
BREAK
Vapes - They exist, we don't stock them! It’s not really our thing!
BREAK
There are more ways to take CBD, but the above are the most common. You’ll even start to see the beauty industry incorporate CBD into their products and also use CBD as a marketing tool!
BREAK
BREAKBREAKBREAK
You don't have to take CBD one way exclusively. It’s whatever you prefer.

WHEN TO TAKE CBD?
It all depends on what your reasons for taking CBD products are. Each item will have its own recommendations and its important not to exceed the recommended daily dose per product(s). It would be worth consulting with your Doctor & health professional on when to take CBD.
BREAK
Consistency is key like with all things but for the various reasons people take CBD in some cases it may be better to take your CBD product as symptoms flare up or you can feel the early onset of the symptoms/reasons you are taking CBD for.

IT IS NOT A WAY OF DOPING
The World Anti-Doping agency has not listed CBD on their prohibited list.
BREAK
I am sure we have experiences with BCAA’S, Creatine etc. If we apply that logic, So long as you are buying from a reputable source, you know that what you are buying is within the legal limits then there should never be any adverse analytical findings if ever dope tested.
BREAK
Ideally you want to be purchasing 0% THC products as a general rule. Like anything, it's at the athletes/users own risk to take a product and you should always consult your doctor first.
BREAK
We have carefully selected brands and produced our own range ,that we have used ourselves and where its presentation of CBD lies on the spectrum of intellectual honesty.
